TERMS AND CONDITIONS Instagram/Facebook Giveaway
1. Organizer
The organizer of the giveaway is the City-Center Bergedorf GbR Shopping Center Marketing Association, Bergedorfer Straße 105, 21029 Hamburg, Germany; hereinafter referred to as City-Center Bergedorf (CCB).
2. Brief Description and Contest Mechanics
Participation in the giveaway takes place exclusively online on the City-Center Bergedorf Instagram or Facebook page by answering the question in the Instagram or Facebook post and following the account. Winners will then be selected at random. One winner will be selected. The drawing will be conducted anonymously and by random selection. Multiple entries are not permitted and will result in disqualification.
By participating in the contest, participants fully accept the rules listed here.
3. Entry Period
The contest begins on July 5, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. and ends on July 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
4. Eligibility
All natural persons who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry and reside in Germany are eligible to participate. Participation is only possible within the timeframe specified in the contest description. Legal recourse is excluded. Participation takes place via the “Follow” and “Comment” functions on Instagram or Facebook. Winners will be notified starting July 11, 2026, via the direct message feature on Instagram or Facebook. Prizes must be picked up at the City-Center Bergedorf management office (within 4 weeks). Shipping is not available. The General Contest Terms and Conditions also apply: The contests referenced on the Instagram channel or Facebook page are not affiliated with Meta, are not sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Meta, and do not give rise to any legal claims by participants against Meta. Information regarding a contest is provided not by Meta but by the fan page operator named in the legal notice. Instagram and Facebook users who are at least 18 years of age are eligible to participate in our contest.
The end date of the contest and the date of the jury’s decision, as well as the rules governing the selection of winners, are included in the contest announcement. The contest announcement also specifies how winners will receive their prizes. The purchase of products or the use of services has no influence on the outcome of the contest. Prizes may not be exchanged or transferred to others, nor may they be redeemed for cash. Legal recourse is excluded. Please refer to https://www.citycenter-bergedorf.de/de/datenschutz/ for the privacy policy regarding the organization of contests on social media channels. Should any individual provisions listed here or in the legal notice be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision whose effects most closely approximate the intended purpose. The foregoing provisions apply mutatis mutandis in the event that the regulations prove to be incomplete. The contest runs from July 5 to July 10, 2026. The deadline for entry is July 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
5. Prizes
Three prize packages (a Germany World Cup jersey, a premium World Cup ball, and a training ball) will be raffled off among all participants. All participants who follow City-Center Bergedorf on Instagram and/or Facebook and comment on or like the corresponding post on Facebook or Instagram have a chance to win. Winners will be selected from all comments. The winner will be notified via private message. The winner is required to respond to the notification and provide their full name. Otherwise, the prize may be raffled off again. The prize must be picked up no later than August 7, 2026, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Center Management Office at City-Center Bergedorf, Bergedorfer Straße 105, 21029 Hamburg. Upon pickup, the winner must present a valid government-issued ID. Shipping by mail is not possible. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash.
6. Liability
Claims for damages against the organizers arising in connection with the contest are excluded—to the extent permitted by law—regardless of the legal basis, unless the organizers have violated legal obligations intentionally or through gross negligence. Furthermore, the organizers are not liable for damages resulting from the disruption of the contest website’s availability due to technical malfunctions beyond their control, events of force majeure, or attacks by third parties against the contest website. However, the organizers will make every effort to ensure the reliability and functionality of the contest website. Furthermore, the organizers do not guarantee that the contest website will function properly on the participant’s computer.
7. Data Protection
The organizers will adhere to the highest possible data protection standards in connection with the contest and comply with all relevant legal provisions in this regard. The organizers will not disclose any personal data to third parties or sell address information. The organizers will store the personal data of the respective participants until the prize is claimed. 8. Disqualification
The organizers reserve the right to exclude participants from the contest without providing specific reasons. Anyone who provides false information about themselves will be excluded. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants from the contest if there are justified reasons, such as manipulation, violation of the terms and conditions, etc. There is no entitlement to participate or to win.
9. Changes
The organizers reserve the right to change, restrict, or completely discontinue the contest at any time and without prior notice. The organizers will exercise this right in particular if, for technical or legal reasons, the proper conduct of the contest cannot be guaranteed. If a change or premature termination is caused by a participant’s conduct, the organizers may demand compensation from that participant. The contest may be temporarily unavailable, particularly due to technical malfunctions or maintenance work, without this giving rise to any claims against the organizers on the part of participants. The organizers reserve the right to change or expand the terms and conditions of participation and conduct at any time and without prior notice. Additions and supplementary agreements regarding the terms for prize distribution must be in writing to be valid.
10. Grant of Rights for the Publication of Winners’ Names
By participating in the contest, participants fully accept the rules set forth herein. The terms and conditions are available online free of charge to all participants and can also be sent via email upon request. They cannot be sent by mail. By participating, the winner consents to having their name published. Thus, the winners’ names may be mentioned by name on the Facebook and Instagram platforms. No financial compensation may be claimed for this.
11. Legal Remedies
Legal recourse is excluded. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
12. Severability Clause
Should any individual provisions set forth herein be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision whose effects most closely approximate the intended purpose. The foregoing provisions apply mutatis mutandis in the event that the provisions prove to be incomplete.
13. To improve readability, the grammatically masculine form is used generically in the text above. This wording naturally includes all genders equally.
